For years, we have tried to always create a few homemade gifts to give out to family and friends. For us, it has always been a great way to share a piece of our farm with others.

This is one of our favorite projects of all time, and they are so easy to make. And in most areas, the slabs of wood are easy to find at local lumber stores, or even from private wood cutters.

Homemade Potting Bench

This is a home run for anyone who loves to work in the soil! This beautiful potting bench is strong, durable and extremely functional.

Homemade Christmas Gift Baskets

This one is one of our absolute favorites to make and hand out. For the baskets, we start by creating simple wooden crates from scrap wood. (See : Homemade Baskets)

Then, we fill them to the top with everything from our homemade salsa, to hot pepper mustard, pasta sauce and more. And even if your not a canner, you can create themed baskets with their favorite foods.

We love making homemade gift baskets from the farm. It is always fun to personalize the baskets to make it just perfect for the recipient.

Create pasta baskets, bread baskets, or even jam and jelly baskets to spread the gift of food and love.

They always go over big, and folks love getting the re-usable wooden crates as much as the contents inside!

How about creating a special sign or wall hanging with a personal touch? Vintage wood signs are all the rage, and they are easy to create, even with limited tools.
