Good afternoon Kris and Happy Thanksgiving! We converted a 10 x 14 shed for our first one, and we are working on a 20’x12. The 10 x 14 works well, and it very cozy, but it might be tough to go any smaller. The solar has worked out really well, and we will definitely be doing a few articles on installing systems a couple of different ways. Jim and Mary

I look forward to following along 🙂 I have a question about the shed you converted to a cabin. What is the size of the building? We are thinking of doing the same at our home for when visitors come and our local rules allow up to 109 sq ft without a building permit…I’m just not sure if that’s enough. I’m very excited to understand how to set up solar for a cabin/shed.

I started following you a few weeks ago when I stumbled on your site – I was looking for next steps after my 5-gallon pails of cherry tomatoes were a hit this summer. I was thinking what a wonderful experience it would be to spend time at your farm! I’m wondering, would this project potentially include a “working farm getaway” for city folk like me to come spend a week (or more, or less) working and learning alongside you while we stay at your new digs?
