Slow Cooker Chili Recipe

Thick and Hearty Chili made right in your slow cooker so that it is ready when you are!

Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1- 14 oz. can kidney chili beans
  • 1- 14 oz. can black beans mostly drained
  • 1- 10 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 pint diced tomatoes
  • ½ large jalapeno
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown ground meat till no longer pink, drain, and add to the slow cooker.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. **If you like it spicy add extra jalapenos, pepper flakes or your favorite hot sauce.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
