Moist and Delicious Pumpkin Bread


  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup + 1½ Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • cup oil
  • cup water


  1. pre-heat oven to 350 degree F
  2. In a large bowl, combine white sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and pumpkin spice.
  3. In another bowl, combine egg, pumpkin puree, oil and water.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until combined.
  5. Grease one large loaf pan (9x4) and pour the batter into it.
  6. Bake at 350 F for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for about 5 minutes. Take out of the pan and wrap in aluminum foil. Let it cool off completely wrapped in the foil.
