Slow Cooker Pork Loin Sauerkraut and Apple Recipe

Pork Loin cooked in the slow cooker with sauerkraut and sweetened with cinnamon apples for the perfect one pot meal.


  • 2-3 pound pork loin roast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 4 cups sauerkraut
  • 2 large apples cored and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


  1. Remove any thick portions of fat from the pork loin roast and discard. Season the roast with salt, pepper and stone ground mustard.
  2. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray and then add the roast to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Add onions and garlic on top of the roast.
  4. Pour the undrained sauerkraut on top of and around the roast.
  5. Place the apples on top of sauerkraut and sprinkle cinnamon on top of the entire mixture.
  6. Slow cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours.
  7. Remove roast and slice. Stir cooked apples into the sauerkraut mixture and serve.
