Back by popular demand, we once again will host our Raised Row Garden Classes at the farm.

And yes, as always – they will be 100% free!

And if you like, you can even stick around for an evening bonfire at the farm too.

The Raised Row Garden is all about growing simple and easy.

If there is one thing we love to do more than anything else, it’s talk gardening.

Especially when it comes to Raised Row Gardening!

2019 Raised Row Garden Classes At The Farm

It has been 5 years since we held our first set of Raised Row Garden Classes at the farm.

Since then, we have tried each year to connect with gardeners from who want to learn about this unique and simple way to grow vegetables.

With the release of our Raised Row Gardening book last year, and the temporary work move to Nashville – it was a bit tough to find time to host our annual garden class event.

Our Raised Row Book and Nashville work time made it hard to host our annual classes in 2018

And I have to admit, we really missed it!

So we have decided to revive it this year in full force. And we invite you to come join us for the fun!

The Details – 2019 Raised Row Garden Classes

For this year’s event, we are hosting (2) separate classes on Saturday, May 4th.

The classes will take place at our little 3 acre farm in Nashport, Ohio.

We will host both a morning class, as well as an afternoon session. Each class will last for approximately 2.5 hours.

Our Raised Row Garden Classes are a great way to connect with fellow gardeners.

Our Raised Row Garden Classes will cover the entire Raised Row Garden process.

From setting up an initial Raised Row Garden, all the way through to the harvest. Including mulching, watering, compost, using cover crops, weed control and more.

We will spend plenty of time in our garden showing live demonstrations. And of course, allow plenty of time for Q & A too.

From start to finish, you will get the ins and out of how to create, plant and grow a low-maintenance Raised Row Garden.

Saturday Night Bonfire Event

This year, we have added a little extra event for participants.

We simply love having time to talk to fellow gardeners. And there just never seems to be enough time during the classes to talk.

An evening around the fire pit. It will be a great chance to talk to fellow gardeners.

So this year, all attendees are welcome to join us (weather permitting) for a bonfire around the fire pit on Saturday night from 7 to 10 pm.

It will be a great time to share and swap gardening stories. And perhaps roast a few hot dogs and enjoy a few S’mores!

One thing is for sure, it will be a fun meet and greet evening for all!

How To Sign Up Now For Classes

We announced classes early this year so that anyone wanting to attend can have a bit of time to plan.

In the past, classes have filled up fairly fast. So, to keep it fair for all, reservations will be on a first come basis.  * Editors note : As of 1/14, all classes have filled up! Stay tuned for future posts, as we will try to offer more as well!

There is no cost to attend.
