The OWG Spring Garden Workshop Is Back – Get Your Tickets Today!

After taking a few years off while building the new farm – our annual Old World Garden Spring Garden Workshop is back and set for Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Not only is it going to be even bigger this year – but also more fun than ever!

For years, our spring garden workshops at our old farm were one of our favorite annual traditions. Gardeners of all experience levels would gather to laugh, learn, and enjoy a day filled with practical tips, hands-on advice, and plenty of inspiration. The classes were always full of energy and fun – and filled to capacity – and have we ever missed that excitement!

When we began the huge journey of building the new farm, we knew our annual workshops would have to be put on hold for at least a few years. But now, the farm is ready to go – and even better, the Grassland Event Center on the farm is now open too. And is it ever ready to host a bigger, better, and more inspiring workshop than ever!

The Old World Garden Spring Garden Workshop

This year’s theme for the April 18th, 2026 gardening workshop is : “How To Grow Vegetables With Ease – And Without The Weeds!

It will be a day filled with practical learning, helpful tips, and down-to-earth gardening advice. Every part of the workshop will be taught in an easy-to-follow style. We want gardeners to walk away with clear steps they can put into action right away. OWG SPRING GARDEN TICKETS ON SALE HERE

From big gardens, to raised bed and container growing – we will cover how to grow a great vegetable garden from start to finish – all without having to worry about constantly battling weeds in the process!

Throughout the day there will be time for questions, demonstrations, and examples from our own successes and failures. We learn by doing, and we want to share the lessons that have helped us the most over the years.

how to stop pulling weeds
We will cover all kinds of vegetable gardening, from raised row and traditional methods, to how to grow vegetables in containers, raised beds and more.

We will serve lunch at midday, giving gardeners a chance to relax, talk with others, and enjoy a break before the afternoon session. Our new event center offers a bright, comfortable space with plenty of room for everyone. And if the weather is good – we will also be doing a few demonstrations in our garden as well throughout the day.

Registration is now open. We do have an early bird special registration for $45 per person (tickets are normally $55) that is good until February 1st. Tickets include all sessions, a full lunch, and the optional farm tour as well. Because seating is limited to 144 people, early registration is strongly encouraged.
