The Sunday Summer Supper Series At The Farm – An Outdoor Dining Experience Like No Other!

This summer, Mary and I are so very excited to introduce something new at the farm – our Sunday Summer Supper Series – a monthly themed dinner series designed to bring people together over great food, music, and the natural beauty of the farm.

Each supper will be a fully catered meal, hosted in an outdoor space at the farm , and meant to be enjoyed slowly and together.

We’ll be hosting four dinners total, one each month from June through September, and each one will have its own theme, menu style, and setting on the farm. There will be an Italian Courtyard Dinner, a Cowboy Steak Dinner, a Southern Sunday Supper Dinner, and A Southern BBQ Dinner. And perhaps best of all – a portion of every ticket will go toward supporting the continued development of our Grassland Ornamental Grass Gardens here at the farm!

Summer Supper Series
Our courtyard will be turned into an Italian-themed dinner experience with live music and great food!

Our goal with each of these dinners is simple. We want to create evenings where people can relax, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal, take in the scenery, and spend time with others around the table. These aren’t rushed events or formal affairs. They’re meant to feel comfortable, welcoming, and memorable – the kind of nights you linger a little longer because everything just feels right.

Keeping The Evening Special

Each dinner in our Summer Sunday Supper Series will be limited to 120 adult guests, and that number is very intentional. We want these evenings to feel lively and fun, but still personal. With 120 people, the atmosphere stays energetic without feeling crowded, and it allows everyone the chance to relax, talk, and truly enjoy the company around them. These dinners are meant to feel shared, not rushed or overwhelming.

The second reason for limiting attendance is a practical one – the weather! While we plan each supper to be enjoyed outdoors, Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate. By keeping the total guest count at 120, we can comfortably move the entire dinner indoors if ever needed. As a last resort, we can shift everyone into our event center & party barn area without losing the flow or experience of the evening.

For us, this balance matters. Limiting the size allows us to protect the experience no matter what the evening brings. Whether we’re dining under the open sky or gathered indoors, we want every guest to feel comfortable, connected, and part of something special.

With that said, here’s a look at the dinners and menus! Tickets for each dinner will go on sale a few months before each event. Ticket sales for the first event on June 14th are now open for the Italian Dinner In The Courtyard!

Our Sunday Summer Supper Series

Italian Dinner In The Courtyard – June 14 – The 1st Sunday Summer Supper Event!

We’ll kick off the series on June 14 with our Italian Dinner in the Courtyard. This evening will feature Italian-inspired dishes served family style, with each table getting to sample the full menu. Large platters will be shared, encouraging conversation and that classic Italian way of dining where food brings everyone together.

The courtyard is one of our favorite places on the farm to host a meal. Surrounded by gardens and stonework, it creates a warm, relaxed atmosphere that feels perfect for kicking off summer. Add in music and good company, and it sets the tone for everything we want this series to be.

Dinner will be served family style, with large platters brought right to your table so everyone can enjoy the full menu together. It’s all about slowing down, passing dishes, sharing flavors, and connecting – just like a traditional Italian meal should be. From rich pastas to hearty entrees and fresh sides, every bite is designed to be comforting, flavorful, and unforgettable.

The Full Menu & Details

The evening’s menu features stuffed shells with a savory meat sauce made from Italian sausage and beef, creamy Parmesan chicken served over penne pasta, and tri-colored cheese tortellini tossed in a rich pesto cream sauce. Sides include buttered parsley red potatoes, garlic butter green beans, and a classic family-style Caesar salad. Fresh breadsticks and homemade Italian bread with dipping oil and butter complete the meal.

And of course, no Italian dinner would be complete without dessert. Enjoy chocolate chip cannoli and a decadent tiramisu cheesecake to end the night on a sweet note.

Iced tea, sweet tea, and lemonade will be available at self-serve stations, along with water provided at every table. Guests are also invited to bring their own beverages (BYOB) to enjoy as well.

Doors will open at 3:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to gather, greet one another, and take a relaxed walk through the gardens and around the farm before dinner begins. Dinner service will start promptly at 4:00 PM, and guests are more than welcome to stay afterward to continue enjoying the evening and the surroundings at their own pace.

Single dinner tickets for our Italian Dinner in the Courtyard are $70 per person and include open seating at one of our round tables in the courtyard. Each round table will seat six guests per table to create a relaxed, social dining experience. For those looking for small groups to sit together, a limited number of reserved tables are also available, including tables of four for $320 and tables of six for $480, offering a dedicated space for your group to enjoy the evening together.

Cowboy Steak Dinner – July 19

On July 19, we’ll host our Cowboy Steak Dinner, and this one is all about bold flavors and live-fire cooking. The steaks will be cooked on site on our large Argentinian wood-fired grill, which adds both incredible flavor and an experience you don’t get every day.

There’s something special about seeing your meal cooked right there, over an open fire, while enjoying a summer evening outdoors. This dinner is meant to be hearty, relaxed, and full of the sights, sounds, and smells that make farm dinners so memorable.

Southern Supper In The Meadow – August 9

The Southern Supper in the Meadow takes place on August 9 and will be served at a long, massive table set right in the meadow. This setup gives the evening a true farm-to-table feel and encourages everyone to dine together in a shared space.

August evenings at the farm are beautiful, and the meadow creates an open, easygoing setting for this style of meal. With comfort food, music, and plenty of room to relax, this supper will be fun!

Barbecue Dinner In The Meadow – September 13

We’ll wrap up the series on September 13 with a Barbecue Dinner in the Meadow. This final supper celebrates the close of summer and the start of early fall with classic barbecue flavors and outdoor dining.

As the evenings cool and the season begins to change, this dinner is a chance to gather one last time, enjoy the farm, and close out the Summer Sunday Supper Series together.

More Than Just Dinner

Each Sunday Summer Supper will include music and a few extra touches that add to the experience without making it feel overdone. For us, these evenings are about more than just the food. They’re about the setting, the conversations, and the people who choose to spend their time here with us.

The Summer Sunday Supper Series is our way of sharing the farm in a meaningful way – four evenings and four different experiences. We’d love for you to join us around the table this summer. Happy Gardening And Dining! Jim & Mary
